Dhaka, June 22 -- Prime Minister's Adviser on the Ministry of Public Administration (with ministerial rank) Md. Ismail Zabiullah has been nominated as a member of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, representing the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The information was conveyed by the ICAPP Secretary General through an email message on Monday.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, BNP Secretary General and Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir had earlier proposed Zabiullah's name for the ICAPP Standing Committee on behalf of the party.
