Dhaka, Oct. 8 -- Aligning with Bangladesh Bank's vision to build a "Cashless Bangladesh," Islami Bank Hospital has officially launched its Bangla QR code-based transaction system to streamline medical service payments and reduce reliance on physical cash.

The announcement was made following a discussion meeting titled "Cashless Payment in Healthcare Services," held at the Islami Bank Foundation Auditorium in the capital on Thursday (October 8).

Md. Jahir Hossain, Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, attended the program as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the Bangla QR transaction system at Islami Bank Hospital.
