Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- State Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ishraque Hossain has said he will make a final announcement regarding his resignation from the post at the National Press Club at 2pm on Monday and face journalists there.

He said, "I will make the final announcement of my resignation as state minister for Liberation War Affairs and face journalists at the National Press Club at 2pm today, Inshallah."

He disclosed this in a post on his verified Facebook page in the morning.

In the post, Ishraque said he had seen some "self-proclaimed enlightened people" expressing ecstasy in their Facebook posts.
