Dhaka, April 1 -- Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi on Wednesday said Iran's Security Council has granted permission for six stranded Bangladeshi ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Bangladesh and Iran are working together to ensure the safe return of the vessels, he told reporters at the Iranian Embassy.
