Dhaka, March 7 -- International Women's Day will be observed in Bangladesh, as elsewhere across the globe, on Sunday, celebrating women's achievements, raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality.

The United Nations has been observing the day as International Women's Day since 1975. The theme of day this year is- "GIVE TO GAIN".
