Dhaka, April 11 -- Information Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon on Saturday urged newly qualified chartered accountants to prepare themselves to face the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

He made the call while addressing the 22nd convocation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) as the chief guest at a hotel in the capital.

The minister said the world is now in the internet era where communication science has seen remarkable development and modern corporate systems have become largely technology-driven.
