Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- Indonesian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit at his office on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the long-standing and fraternal ties between Bangladesh and Indonesia and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

They also expressed their keen interest in exploring avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation in the days ahead.

Anis Matta is on an official visit to Bangladesh from October 5 to 9.
