HSC examinees block roads in Dhaka, demand suspension of exams amid floods
, July 14 -- A section of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees staged demonstrations and blocked roads in parts of the capital on Tuesday, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon over the continuation of examinations amid adverse weather and alleged errors in question papers.
The protesters began demonstrations around 11:30am at Science Laboratory intersection and almost simultaneously in Uttara, causing major disruptions to traffic and suffering for commuters.
