, May 26 -- The joy of returning home for Eid-ul-Azha turned into heartbreak for three members of a family on Tuesday morning as a bus rammed into a motorbike carrying them on Dhaka-Barishal highway in Gouranadi of Barishal district.

The deceased were identified as Firoz Hawladar, 36, son of Hakim Hawladar, his wife Monira Begum, 28 and their daughter Jannat, 10 of Ujirpur upazila.

The accident occurred in the morning when the Barishal-bound bus of 'Taj Ananda Paribahan' hit the motorbike carrying the family while they were going to their home village to celebrate Eid, leaving them dead, said Mizanur Rahman, Station Officer of Gouranadi Fire Service and Civil Defence.
