Hundreds of passengers returning from Eid across 21 southwestern districts arrived via Daulatdia Ferry in Rajbari, using buses, microbuses, private cars, and cut-line services. By late afternoon, the terminal was overcrowded, causing a shortage of vehicles for Dhaka-bound travelers.

Passengers alleged that fares from Paturia to Savar and Nabinagar, officially 150 taka, were being charged at 400 taka, while fares to Gabtali, officially 200 taka, went up to 500 taka.
