, April 22 -- The full panel of Barrister Omar Sadat-led "Bhalobasar Gulshan" was elected unopposed in the Gulshan Society election held on Tuesday.

Barrister Omar Sadat, a senior lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, was re-elected president of Gulshan Society for the next two years, while businessman Mujibur Rahman Mridha was elected secretary general.

The election for the 12th Executive Committee of the Gulshan Society was conducted peacefully under the supervision of Chief Election Commissioner Nurul Alam.

Under the new committee, Captain (Retd) Abdul Majed Mia and Eva Rahman were elected vice-presidents, Ali Ashfaq treasurer, Khadem Md Rayyan Sadid and Joya Kabir joint secretary generals, Mahfuzul Azam Romel joint treasurer, ...
