Dhaka, Sept. 16 -- in-Charge of Gulshan Model Police Station Daud Hossain has been withdrawn and attached to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) headquarters.

A notification was issued in this regard on Wednesday.

According to the notification, the decision was taken for administrative reason.

The punitive action against the OC was taken five days after leaders and activists of Awami League, which faces a ban on its activities, brought out a procession in the Gulshan area of Dhaka on September 11.
