BHOLA, Oct. 1 -- State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque on Thursday said the present government has undertaken various plans to make the country's youth and future generations self-reliant.

"Ensuring employment for the next generation was a key pledge in the current government's election manifesto. We have already formulated various action plans to make our youth and their families self-reliant, and implementation has begun," he said.

The minister made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a training inauguration ceremony of the Freelancing Training Project in Bhola District Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the afternoon.
