Dhaka, May 9 -- The government will continue to support cable operators, internet service providers (ISPs) and broadcasting-related institutions that play a significant role in creating employment and supporting the livelihoods of millions of people across the country, said Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Science and Technology Adviser Faqir Mahbub Anam.

He said ensuring the sustainability of this sector and modernising it in line with emerging technological developments remain important responsibilities of the government.
