JASHORE, Aug. 1 -- e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar on Friday urged the government to abandon what he described as the "destructive path of fascism" and fully implement the July Charter, warning that otherwise a fresh mass movement would be launched.

Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion titled "The 2024 Mass Uprising: Expectations and Achievements" at the Jashore District Council auditorium, Parwar said the July 2024 uprising was a nationwide movement involving students and people from all walks of life, not any single political party, individual or group.
