Dhaka, April 18 -- The government has increased the prices of all types of fuel at the consumer level in line with the rise in global fuel prices.

Under the new rates, diesel will sell at Tk 115 per litre, octane at Tk 140, petrol at Tk 135, and kerosene at Tk 130, said a PID handout.

The new prices will come into effect from Sunday.

Earlier, the government announced that fuel prices will remained unchanged for April despite a rise in the international market.

In the previous month, diesel was priced at Tk 100 per litre, octane at Tk 120, petrol at Tk 116, and kerosene at Tk 112.
