Dhaka, March 25 -- The government has appointed two Information Cadre officials as Deputy Press Secretary and Assistant Press Secretary to the President.

Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Department of Information Molla Ahmed Kutubuddin has been appointed as Deputy Press Secretary to the President on deputation, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday night.

Besides, Senior Information Officer of the Department of Information SM Rahat Hasnat has been appointed as Assistant Press Secretary to the President on deputation.

Md Sarwar Alam is currently serving as Secretary to the President with the rank of a secretary.
