Dhaka, May 7 -- The Ambassador of Germany to Bangladesh, Dr. Rudiger Lotz, paid a courtesy call on Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed at his office in the Bangladesh Secretariat this (Thursday) afternoon.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest, including strengthening bilateral relations through increased cooperation between the two countries.

Terming Germany as one of Bangladesh's key development partners, the Home Minister highlighted Germany's ongoing support in various sectors, including renewable energy, climate change mitigation, the textile and ready-made garments (RMG) industry, and technical and vocational education.
