Dhaka, Sept. 17 -- Gas supply will remain suspended for 24 hours in several areas of Savar, Ashulia, Gazipur and Manikganj from Friday morning for the tie-in work related to relocation of an existing gas pipeline under the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway project.

According to Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, the supply suspension will continue until 8am on Saturday.

The suspension will affect all categories of gas consumers in areas from Ashulia Bazar to Baipayl on both sides of the road, as well as Dhaka EPZ, Malancha Power Plant, Beximco DRS (Beximco Industrial Complex), Kashimpur, Sardaganj, Haji Market, Sreepur, Chandra and Chandra intersection.
