Dhaka, Nov. 1 -- Gas supply across the country will decline and pressure may remain low for four days from Wednesday (November 4) due to emergency maintenance work at Summit LNG Terminal in Maheshkhali of Cox's Bazar.

According to a Petrobangla press release issued on Sunday, regasification operations at the terminal will remain suspended from 8:00am on November 4 until 4:00pm on November 7, 2026, to facilitate the maintenance work.

During this period, daily gas supply to the national grid will fall by 320 million cubic feet (mmcfd), from the current 920 mmcfd to 600 mmcfd.

As a result, consumers across the country may experience low gas pressure during the period, the release said.
