, Aug. 31 -- The government has decided to keep retail fuel oil prices unchanged for the month of September, allowing consumers to purchase diesel, kerosene, petrol, and octane at existing rates.

According to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on Monday, the existing price structure will remain in effect throughout September.

Under the current pricing setup, diesel will continue to sell at Tk 115 per litre, octane at Tk 145 per litre, petrol at Tk 140 per litre, and kerosene at Tk 135 per litre.

The current rates were originally adjusted via a notification issued on May 31, 2026, and were subsequently maintained through July and August.
