, Sept. 1 -- A free medical camp was inaugurated at Naya Paltan in the capital on Tuesday marking the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi inaugurated the medical camp on the ground floor of the party's central office in Naya Paltan around noon.

People from different age groups received medical services at the camp.

Physicians examined patients, provided necessary health advice and distributed various medicines free of cost.

BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Md Rafiqul Islam, among other leaders and activists of different levels of the party, physicians and volunteers, were present at the event.
