, Sept. 7 -- Four more parliamentary committees were formed on Monday, taking the total number of committees formed so far in the 13th Parliament to 40.

The four newly constituted committees are the Parliamentary Committee on Rules of Procedure, the Committee on Government Assurances, the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, and the Petition Committee.
