Dhaka, July 21 -- The government has transferred four deputy inspectors general (DIGs) of police in the latest reshuffle in the police administration.

Besides, an earlier transfer order involving DIG Miah Masud Karim of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been cancelled.

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.

According to the notification, Mymensingh Range DIG Md Ataul Kibria has been transferred and posted as DIG of the CID, while Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Hasan replaced Kibria.
