Jhenaidah, Oct. 29 -- A court in Magura on Wednesday sent former Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Nath and Sub-Inspector (SI) Ismail Hossain to jail in connection with the murder of BNP leader Moshiar Rahman.

Judge Barnali Rani of the Shalikha Cognizance Court rejected their bail petitions and ordered them sent to jail.

Magura Superintendent of Police Molla Azad Hossain said on Wednesday night that police arrested them Tuesday night while they were serving with the Barishal River Police.
