Khagrachhari, July 8 -- Power supply to Dighinala upazila and the Sajek tourist destination in Khagrachhari has remained suspended since Wednesday morning after authorities shut down the local power substation due to flooding caused by continuous rainfall and hill runoff.

The outage, which began around 10:00 am, has left thousands of consumers without electricity, disrupting daily life, businesses and essential services in the area.
