Dhaka, July 17 -- All remaining Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations for 2026 under the Chattogram Education Board have been suspended until further notice in view of the overall post-flood situation in the affected areas and considering the physical and mental well-being of examinees.

The decision was announced in a notice signed by Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on Thursday.

According to the notice, the suspension was decided after reviewing the overall situation in flood-affected areas, the physical and mental condition of examinees, consultations with relevant stakeholders, and transportation difficulties caused by flood-damaged roads.
