Dhaka, Aug. 21 -- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is expanding his cabinet six months after forming the government, bringing five more members into the council of ministers.

Those who are going to be inducted into the cabinet are BNP Standing Committee member and Narsingdi-2 MP Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir, Chairman of Bangladesh National Party (BJP) and Bhola-1 MP Andaleeve Rahman Partho, Bandarban MP Saching Prue Jerry and Gaibandha-4 lawmaker Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln.

Besides, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Rashiduzzaman Millat will take the oath as minister.

They will take the oath of office at Bangabhaban this evening.
