Bogura, Aug. 25 -- At least five people, including three children and two elderly people, were injured in separate attacks by a rabid fox in Dhunot upazila of Bogura on Tuesday.

The injured were identified as Nurul Islam, 65, of Sadarpara, Siam, 4, and Nasima, 60, of Jingirtala, and Rohan, 7, and Riazul, 3, of Pechibari village.

The victims received treatment at Dhunot Upazila Health Complex following the attacks, which occurred at different times.

According to locals, Nurul Islam was cutting grass in his field around noon when a fox suddenly attacked and bit him.
