, April 30 -- The Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) has launched an e-fire licence system to simplify the process of delivering public services.

Director General Brigadier General Muhammad Jahed Kamal inaugurated the system at 3:00 pm on Thursday at the conference room of the FSCD EOC building in Mirpur-10.

With this, the long-standing manual process for issuing fire licences has been discontinued. Applicants will now be able to complete the entire process online - from application to obtaining the licence - from home.

From May 1, the issuance of new fire licences, renewals and re-evaluation of licences will be conducted online. The manual submission of all types of licence-related applications will be discontinued. Cooperation fro...
