Dhaka, March 19 -- Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury has extended his heartfelt greetings to people from all walks of life across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a message issued on Thursday, the minister conveyed his warm wishes to party leaders and activists at all levels, journalists, professionals, and the general public.

He expressed hope that the holy occasion, following a month of fasting, would bring joy and peace to every household of the Muslim Ummah.
