Dhaka, July 12 -- Filmmaker Md. Borhanul Ashekin (Borhan Khan) has been honoured with the prestigious Best Short Film Director award at the AJFB Star Awards 2025 for his socially conscious short film, Blind Road.

The award was presented at a gala ceremony held recently at the BIAM Auditorium in the capital.

Organised by the Artist and Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB), the 19th edition of the awards celebrated outstanding achievements by established stars and emerging talents in the country's film and music industries.

The evening featured vibrant cultural performances, adding to the grandeur of the ceremony and making it a memorable occasion for the attendees.
