Dhaka, May 30 -- BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan on Saturday said the vision of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman must be implemented in the country's film industry, noting that the sector witnessed its highest level of development during BNP governments.

"Whenever BNP was in power, the film industry experienced the highest level of development. Based on past experience, the current BNP government will again work for the advancement of the film industry," he said.

The BNP leader made the remarks while addressing a programme organised by the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Cholochitra Parishad at the gate of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), marking the 45th death anniversary of Ziaur Rahman.
