Dhaka, July 14 -- A master's student was found hanging at her husband's house in the Hasnabad area of South Keraniganj on the outskirts of the capital on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Asia Akter Mim, 26, a first-year master's student at Siddheshwari University College in the capital.

Victim's husband Imamul Islam, who owns a rickshaw garage, said they married about a month ago. He said he had been away from home overseeing construction work on a new house and returned in the afternoon.

Failing to find his wife downstairs, he went to the upper floor where he found a room locked from the inside.
