Dhaka, June 13 -- Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday urged the foreign diplomats and development partners to invest in in the current government's vision of transforming Bangladesh into a self-reliant, resilient and industrialised country where every citizen enjoys a fair share of prosperity and dignity.

"We offer a Bangladesh that is completely stable, ethical, and generally people-oriented. We invite you to invest in our vision. Trust me, you will not regret," he said, while addressing an event in the city.
