Dhaka, Oct. 14 -- e-janaza of former BNP MP and the party's commerce affairs secretary Salahuddin Ahmed was held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday.

Salahuddin's coffin was brought to the South Plaza, where the janaza was held at around 11am.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Speaker Kayser Kamal, Chief Whip Nurul Islam, Water Resources Minister Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee, cabinet members, whips, and current and former MPs attended the janaza.

After the janaza, a special munajat was offered, praying for salvation of the departed soul.
