Sylhet, May 15 -- Commerce, Industry, and Textiles and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir on Friday said there is no such thing as failure in scientific research, as every stage of research generates new knowledge and experience that contributes to future innovation.

He made the remarks while inaugurating the 47th National Science and Technology Week and Science Fair at the Mohammad Ali Gymnasium of Sylhet District Stadium.

The minister urged teachers, parents and all concerned to encourage students to engage more actively in scientific studies and research.
