Dhaka, June 9 -- level delegation from the European Union (EU), led by Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller, met Chief Whip of the Opposition and National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam at the party's central office in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The substantial exchange centred on ongoing reforms, the national budget, preparations for local elections and the participation of youth and women in all spheres of society, according to a press release.
