Dhaka, Aug. 12 -- Employment exchange will be introduced at the district level to directly connect jobseekers with employers, with priority given to marginalised and disadvantaged communities, Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Spokesperson Mahdi Amin said on Wednesday.

"We are going to launch employment exchange. Several dialogues and consultations have already been held among different government agencies on the initiative," he said.

Mahdi Amin, also Prime Minister's adviser, was speaking at the second session of a national conference titled "Implementing a Five-Year Strategic Framework for Achieving the SDGs: Policies, Partnerships and Priorities" at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the capital.
