Dhaka, July 22 -- A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) got underway on Wednesday morning with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the chair.

The meeting began at 10:00am at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat, said a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Press Wing.
