Dhaka, April 26 -- Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md Abdus Salam on Sunday said steps are being taken to use effective insecticides as part of efforts to strengthen mosquito control activities in the capital.

"We have already initiated the tender process for procuring new fogger machines. Overcoming the limitations of the past, the current administration is giving the highest priority to public safety and health," he said.
