Dhaka, April 15 -- The footpath in front of Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital has been transformed into a visually appealing, pedestrian-friendly space under a special initiative by the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), with authorities calling for collective efforts to ensure its long-term preservation.
Once plagued by illegal encroachment, waste and foul odour, the footpath now features rows of flower pot, ornamental plants and vibrant wall graffiti, creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
DSCC Administrator Abdus Salam, formally inaugurated the eviction and beautification programme on Wednesday afternoon.
