, March 31 -- Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Administrator Md. Shafiqul Islam Khan on Tuesday inaugurated the road and drainage development project stretching from Mirpur-10 to Talatola.

The project is being implemented under the IDRISP (Improvement of Damaged Road Infrastructure in Zones 2 and 4 and Service Packages in Zone 5) programme to repair and upgrade damaged roads and associated infrastructure.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at Mirpur-10 Fulpatti, the DNCC administrator said the project, covering approximately four kilometers of road along with drainage construction on both sides, would significantly reduce long-standing waterlogging problems in the area.
