Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- A Dhaka court on Wednesday placed Diamond World Managing Director Dilip Kumar Agarwala on four-day remand in an attempted murder case linked to the July 2024 uprising.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order when Sub-Inspector Sumon Mia of Uttara West Police Station produced him before the court with a 10-day remand prayer in the case.

Earlier, the police officer filed a petition with the court seeking its order to show Dilip Agarwala arrested in the case filed for attempting to kill A Jabbar during the July uprising.

The court accepted the petition.
