Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- Dhaka's air quality remained in the 'moderate' category on Monday morning, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) score of 79.

The capital ranked 20th on the list of the world's most polluted cities at 10:05am, according to the AQI scale.

Dubai of the United Arab Emirates was the world's most polluted city at the time, with an AQI score of 176, followed by Indonesia's Jakarta with 158 and India's Delhi with 156.

On Sunday, Dhaka ranked 27th on the list, recording an AQI score of 68 at 9:30am.

An AQI between 50 and 100 is considered "moderate" with an acceptable air quality while AQI between 101 and 150 is considered 'unhealthy for sensitive groups', while a score between 151 and 200 is classified as 'unhealthy'. AQI reading...
