Sangsad Bhaban, June 9 -- Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam on Tuesday told Parliament that the government is preparing a comprehensive Cyber Security Strategy (2026-2030) to further strengthen the country's cyber security framework.

"The preparation of the 'Cyber Security Strategy (2026-2030)' by the National Cyber Security Agency under the Information and Communication Technology Division is underway to strengthen cyber security," he said.

The Minister said this, while replying to a starred question from treasury bench lawmaker AKM Fazlul Haque Milon (Gazipur-5) in the House.

He said a preliminary draft of the strategy has already been completed.
