Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed on Wednesday drives against terrorists, armed criminals, drug dealers and extortionists are underway and would be intensified further.

"Lists of terrorists, armed criminals, drug dealers and extortionists are always maintained by the police and regularly updated," he said responding to a question from reporters after a meeting at the Secretariat on preparations for Durga Puja celebrations.

The police department is regularly collecting data on the number of terrorists, drug dealers and extortionists arrested, and the information is being published in the media, he added.
