Dhaka, June 30 -- level police officers have been instructed to perform their duties with the highest level of professionalism to ensure people's access to justice.

The directive was given on the 2nd day of the virtual monthly crime review meeting for May 2026 on Tuesday with Additional Inspector General (Crime and Operations) Khondaker Rafiqul Islam in the chair.

Metropolitan police commissioners, range deputy inspectors general (DIGs) and district superintendents of police (SPs) joined the meeting virtually.

At the Police Headquarters, DIG (Crime Management) Mohammad Abu Sufian, DIG (Operations) Md Rezaul Karim and other senior officials were present.
