, May 17 -- The government has appointed chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mosleh Uddin Ahmed as Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner.

The Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday which will come into effect soon.
