Dhaka, Aug. 2 -- Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of the Sanatani Jagaran Jote, has been granted bail by the High Court in two cases.

A High Court bench comprising Justice K M Zahid Sarwar and Justice Sheikh Abu Taher passed the order on Sunday, making the rules issued on the bail petitions absolute.

However, he will not be released from custody immediately as he is facing other cases, said Chinmoy's lawyer Apurba Kumar Bhattacharya.

Deputy Attorney General Syeda Sazia Sharmin represented the state.
